Original Concept Sketch

The first concept sketch was quickly taken while looking at some books about stuffed animal creation at Powell's Book Store. Later, I chose which colors I thought fit the character and digitally colored the sketch.

From Concept to 3D

The stuffed animal and orignal sketch aided me in creating the 3D model of Codei in Blender. Some features from the sketch, such as the collar, were added, while details such as the shape of the face and eyes were adopted from the stuffed animal. The 3D model on the left is a high-poly STL file for 3D printing.

After 3D printing the first bear, I used silicone to cast the features and then made resin reproductions.
